After School Program Winter 2005

Yo what's good? My name is Wesley (but the friends I chill with call me Infamous P.I.G. which stands for Pretty Intelligent Guy) and I'm 15 years old until June. I go to Odyssey that's at Southie High. I like to chill with my boyz and act, plus I listen to music. In my cd player now is Eminem "Encore." Medicine Wheel is cool. We do things I've never done before and we get paid. In the future I want to be an actor. Having a key to people's different emotions is cool.

Hey Wats Good? My name is Bernardine A. Bernard wit the r between the a-ah and d-ah. I know many people who many of them have many nicknames for me; from Berna to Bernadown. I am 14 years old in the freshman honors class. I attend Odyssey High @ South Boston Educational Complex. I like to do lots of stuff that involves being active, especially with my friends and doing on my own time. I am good at just being myself; which are a lot of different characters, and having fun. In Medicine Wheel I like the fact of getting paid for doing what I do. Someday I hope to change the world, ha somewhat kidding, but to do something successful in my life and be happy. Bonjour. My name is David. I am 16 years old. I attend Boston College Charter School. I like to listen to music and I am good at snowboarding and skateboarding. In Medicine Wheel I like getting paid to be myself. I also love using my sense of humor. I hope to join the army. Bye Now.

What's up? My name is Jonathan Earnest and I am 16 years old. I go to Cathedral High School in Boston, MA. Also I go to Martial Arts classes at St. Matthew Church. In my spare time I like to play video games, watch movies, and listen to music, mainly rock and roll. I am good at tennis, golf, some other sports, but my favorite thing I am good at is Tenchi Kenpo. In Medicine Wheel I like the writing poetry and poetic dance. Someday I hope to have a loving family. Hola! My name is Perla but people call me Pearl. I'm 15 years old and I attend Odyssey High, which is located in South Boston. What I like to do in my spare time is to listen to Rock Music. In Medicine Wheel, I like to write poems and share them with my peers. Someday I'm hoping to go to the Air Force and become a pilot. I hope this comes true. Bye

What up? My name is Allen but my friends call me 60. I'm a 16 year-old Trinidadian black from Mattapan. I attend Odyssey High in South Boston. I like and am good at basketball. I haven't been at Medicine Wheel long. I come here to chill with my boy Wesley.

Hi, I'm Amanda Sweeney. I'm sixteen years old and have lived in South Boston my entire life. I go to Boston Latin Academy where I study hard in hopes of one day becoming a doctor. In my spare time I enjoy karate, skiing, and Girl Scouts. I helped plant the Girl Scout Garden at No Man's Land in 1997 with the rest of my troop and we have helped care for it ever since.
