Relief Printmaking AC40

Use oil and water-based inks and learn how to make prints by cutting woodblocks using reduction as well as several other block methods. Supply list will be sent prior to first class. Tuition includes printing inks.

Figure Drawing AC30

The ability to accurately draw the human figure is essential for any art student. Through a series of creative exercises, life model poses, and projects, discover the elements of proportion, anatomy, observation, and expression. Tuition includes model fee.

Beginning/Intermediate Painting AC14

An introduction to the materials and techniques of oil or acrylic painting. Covers concepts of color, form, light, composition and methods of applying paint to canvas or paper. Instruction is individualized to meet the needs and interests of each student. Bring your own painting supplies.

Advanced Painting AC10

This is an upper level class for serious students. Its primary aim is to strengthen technical skills and to develop a personal style. Students work on individual projects in the medium of their choice under the guidance of the instructor

Advanced Critique/Vision AC70

Guided conversations will be held that examine issues we are dealing with as artists. Topics might include: experiencing art, learning to talk about each other's art, our role as artists in our society, accessing and recognizing our vision, special needs we have as artists, talking about our art with others. The instructor may request ongoing work be brought to the class.
